Toronto, the most populous city in Canada, is the provincial capital of Ontario. It is located in Southern Ontario on the northwestern shore of Lake Ontario.
Toronto is described as “New York City run by the Swiss”. You can find world-class theater, shopping and restaurants here with clean side walks and friendly people. CN Tower is tallest freestanding structure in the Western Hemisphere.
The red-brick Gooderham Building, a historic landmark of Toronto, is located at 49 Wellington Street East. The building was an early example of a prominent flatiron building, completed in 1892.
The building is associated with the Gooderham family – notably George Gooderham, the eldest son of William Gooderham who was the original founder of the successful distilling company.
